Alabama Woman, Carlee Russell Who Went Missing After Toddler Sighting Found Alive, Police Say

In a surprising turn of events, Carlethia “Carlee” Nichole Russell, the Alabama woman who went missing after reporting a toddler walking alone on the side of the interstate, has been found alive, according to local authorities.

The 25-year-old Russell had vanished on Thursday night after contacting 911 to alert them about the child’s presence on I-459 South.

After the call, she stopped her vehicle to check on the toddler and reached out to a family member, who subsequently lost contact with her.

Following this development, Hoover police released a statement, saying, “Hoover Fire medics responded to the scene to assess Carlee and transported her to a local hospital for evaluation.” The police also conducted an investigation at the location.
