Having burst onto the Nigerian music scene in 2022, Asake has emerged as a consistent hitmaker in Afrobeats, captivating audiences with his unique fusion of genres and propelling himself to superstardom.

In a groundbreaking achievement on the latest edition of the TurnTable Top 100 chart (covering June 2 – June 8, 2023), Asake and Olamide have become the first duo to claim the top two spots on the chart simultaneously.

Maintaining its reign for a second week, Asake’s collaboration with Olamide titled ‘Amapiano‘ holds the coveted number one position, while Olamide’s ‘New Religion’ featuring Asake debuts strongly at number two.

Meanwhile, Rema’s ‘Charm‘ slips to the third spot, Zinoleesky’s latest single ‘A1 (Feeling Disorder)’ enters at number five, and Seyi Vibez’s ‘Hat-Trick’ makes an impressive climb of thirteen places to claim the fifth position.

Davido’s ‘Feel’ and BNXN’s ‘Pray‘ both experience a minor drop, settling at numbers six and seven respectively. Notably, Burna Boy’s ‘Sitting On Top of The World’ makes its debut at number eight.

CKay’s collaboration with Blaqbonez titled ‘Hallelujah’ surges six places to break into the top 10 at number nine, while Davido’s ‘Unavailable’ featuring Musa Keys slips two places to round off the rankings at number ten.
