Grammy-Award-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy recently stated that it’s the end of the road for Davido and Wizkid in a statement that surfaced online.

“Davido and Wizkid’s journey has come to an end; I provided them with a seven-year head start,” says Burna Boy in a video (Watch)

This revelation came during an interview following the release of his seventh studio album, “I Told Them.” Burna Boy had previously expressed his views on the genre of Afrobeats, suggesting it lacks substance.

Burna Boy explained that he allowed Wizkid, Davido, and other artists a seven-year head start to shine because he was initially confined to Africa and couldn’t step out to the UK. However, when he finally made it to the UK in 2016, he believed it was game over for the superstars who were in the spotlight at that time.
