Despite taking a break from social media, Davido is still trending. With the passing of his son Ifeanyi and the announcement of his covert marriage to Chioma, the Fem singer withdrew from social media.
Even though Davido said he will release new music this month, the artist has not yet said when the song would be released or whether he will delay it because of the elections.
Internet users have been griping that the music scene is dull without Davido since he was absent. They are highly outspoken on Twitter, with many claiming that Davido is the industry’s life.
Sazzy, a Twitter user, took advantage of the situation to disparage Wizkid and his following. Sazzy claims that Davido is the one who has given followers of Wizkid FC and even Burna Boy something to speak about.
He made fun of them for relying on Davido for interaction and for Wizkid’s reliance on Davido for social media platform Trending.
