The video, initially published by The Daily Caller, has caused a stir as authorities investigate the incident that allegedly took place in a high-profile space on Capitol Hill.

The man involved in the sex video has been identified as 24-year-old Aidan Maese-Czeropski, an aide to Democratic Maryland Senator Ben Cardin. The video reportedly depicts Maese-Czeropski engaging in intimate acts with another man in a judiciary hearing room within the Hart Senate Office Building. This particular room is known for its use in confirmations and grillings, including those of Supreme Court nominees.

While the exact timing of the incident remains unclear, The Daily Caller obtained and published the sex video on its site, prompting a swift response. The cameraperson, believed to be the one engaging in the explicit acts, captured various angles of the incident, raising concerns about the location’s significance within the Capitol.

Once the connection between the staffer and Senator Cardin was established, a spokesperson for the office confirmed Maese-Czeropski’s termination, stating, “Aidan Maese-Czeropski is no longer employed by the U.S. Senate. We will have no further comment on this personnel matter.”

A purported message from Maese-Czeropski, circulating on his since-scrubbed LinkedIn, acknowledged the challenging time he’s facing. The message read in part, “This has been a difficult time for me, as I have been attacked for who I love to pursue a political agenda,” and went on to emphasize that his actions should not be mischaracterized.

Capitol Police have initiated an investigation into the matter to determine if any laws were violated. Aidan Maese-Czeropski had been in the employ of Senator Cardin since 2021, previously interning for Dianne Feinstein. In response to the controversy, the staffer has cleared his social media accounts of all content.
