Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, recently shared his thoughts on the court case filed by Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi against the president-elect, Bola Tinubu.

Fayose stated that it is likely that Obi may win the case, but if he were in Tinubu’s position, he would not let Obi win. Fayose acknowledged that Tinubu won the presidential election fairly, but suggested that all candidates participated in any irregularities that occurred during the election.

Additionally, Fayose claimed that if he were challenged in court after winning an election, he would do everything in his power to ensure that his opposition loses the case. Ultimately, Fayose asserted that while it is possible for Obi to win the case against Tinubu, if he were in Tinubu’s shoes, he would not let Obi take away what God has given him.

“It is possible that Obi wins the court case against Bola Tinubu, but if I was Tinubu, Obi won’t win.”

“Asiwaju Bola Tinubu won that election fair and square and all of them participated in whatever odd or the other that you might claim and what I said the last time is that it is possible if these people go to court, they will win.”

“But let me tell you, nobody will hold me down if I win an election and want to take it from me and if we get to the judiciary and you get your lawyers, that truth is that I will do everything humanly possible to make sure that what God has given to me, nobody will dare take it from me” Fayose said.
