Korea’s TikTok Star Seo Won Jeong Faces Sexual Assault Charges; Investigation Unveils Disturbing Details

Seo Won Jeong, the 27-year-old sensation behind the TikTok handle ‘WonJeongMan’ or @ox_zung, renowned as the ‘Mama Guy,’ has found himself entangled in a serious legal matter.

Seo Won Jeong Who is once-celebrated content creator, with an astonishing 55.6 million followers, is facing sexual assault charges that have sent shockwaves through his global fanbase.

Won Jeong’s unexpected hiatus from social media raised eyebrows among his legion of followers, but the mystery was shattered when he emerged as ‘Influencer A’ in a disturbing investigation. According to SBS, Won Jeong and another man were arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman, identified as ‘Woman B,’ after a social gathering.

‘Woman B’ reported the incident to the police, revealing that she woke up to recording noises, realizing she had been sexually assaulted while unconscious. The investigation took a dramatic turn when it was disclosed that Won Jeong resisted police efforts to enter his residence, prompting the fire department’s intervention.

Seoul Gangnam Police Station has forwarded the case to the prosecution, and as of December 15, Seo Won Jeong faces potential imprisonment of up to seven years if found guilty. Charges related to illegal filming were dropped due to insufficient evidence on Won Jeong’s phone. Won Jeong claims the encounter was consensual, setting the stage for the truth to unfold during the first court hearing scheduled for January 17, 2024.
