A couple from Punjab, known for their unique kulhad pizza offerings, has found themselves in the midst of a controversy following the circulation of a viral video purportedly featuring them. Sehaj Arora, the owner of the popular “Kulhad Pizza” food cart in Jalandhar, has strongly denied the authenticity of the video and has taken legal action.
Sehaj Arora and his wife gained fame for their innovative take on pizza, which is served in earthen kulhads. Their heartwarming story, shared on social media, chronicled their journey from meeting and falling in love to eventually tying the knot while running their street food business.
However, recent events have taken a troubling turn. A video that allegedly portrays the couple in a compromising position has been making rounds on social media. Mr. Arora wasted no time in addressing the situation. He posted a video on Instagram from outside a police station in Jalandhar, claiming that someone had sent them the “fake” video and demanded money in return. When they refused to comply, the video was circulated online.
Sehaj Arora firmly asserted the video’s falseness and suggested that it might have been generated using artificial intelligence. He also urged the public not to share the clip. Taking the matter seriously, Mr. Arora filed an official complaint with the police.
In a subsequent video, Sehaj Arora revealed the ordeal he and his wife, who recently became parents, had endured since the controversy erupted. He mentioned that the person responsible for blackmailing them with the video had been arrested by the police.
Furthermore, Mr. Arora accused a YouTuber named Karan Dutta of spreading the fake video and highlighted the emotional and reputational toll it had taken on him and his family. In response, Karan Dutta has released several videos on his YouTube channel vehemently denying any wrongdoing and questioning the veracity of Sehaj Arora’s claims.
The incident highlights the challenges faced by individuals who gain sudden online fame and the potential misuse of digital media in the age of social media. As the investigation unfolds, many will be watching closely to discern the truth behind this controversial situation.
