Sexyy Red, a rapper from St. Louis, and Nicki Minaj have collaborated on a new song “Pound Town 2,” a bass-heavy, dance-ready smash created by Tay Keith, is the subject of the song’s remix.
In an email to her followers, Minaj urged them to “show Sexyy Red lots of love.” She is a true, down to earth girl from the country, and I think she is very special. She reminded me so much of the Queens neighborhood gals I grew up with.
The “Pound Town 2” duet, which comes after Minaj teased lyrics on social media earlier this week, represents new heights for Red. Before this song, Red had “Female Gucci Mane” and was a part of NLE Choppa’s blockbuster song “Sl*t Me Out.”
