Nigerian artist B-Red recently shared an intriguing revelation about Grammy-Award winner Burnaboy. During a guest appearance on the Echoo Room audiovisual podcast hosted by Quincy Jonze, B-Red disclosed that in their early days in Port Harcourt, Burnaboy would chase after a car belonging to him and Davido.
The disclosure comes in the wake of online controversies sparked by Davido’s recent interview, in which he referred to Burnaboy as a newcomer in the music industry.
During the podcast interview, B-Red, who happens to be Davido’s cousin, recounted an incident where Wizkid praised Davido’s entry into the music industry in front of him, highlighting the significance of Davido’s debut single “Back When” released in 2011.
B-Red further shared that when he initially met Burnaboy in Port Harcourt, the talented artist was seen running after a car owned by both B-Red and Davido, expressing his deep admiration for them.
