Suleman, aged 19, accompanied his father, Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood, as part of a five-member crew on the OceanGate submersible. Tragically, the submarine experienced a devastating implosion a mere 1,600 feet from the Titanic’s bow.

Azmeh revealed that Suleman had expressed fear and hesitation regarding the trip but ultimately decided to join the crew in order to impress his father and commemorate Father’s Day together.

Among the victims of the ill-fated expedition were OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, French Navy veteran Paul-Henri (PH) Nargeolet, and British billionaire Hamish Harding.

During an interview with NBC News, Azmeh expressed her distress, stating, “I can’t help but think of Suleman, who is only 19, trapped in there, possibly struggling for breath… It has been utterly devastating.”

Since Sunday, Suleman and the other victims had remained unaccounted for, and experts have concluded that the chances of recovering their remains are minimal.
