In a heartfelt statement, Swift expressed her gratitude to her fans, stating, “I always look at this album as my album, and the lump in my throat expands to a quivering voice as I say this. Thanks to you, dear reader, it finally will be. I consider this music to be, along with your faith in me, the best thing that’s ever been mine.”

The album, a reimagining of her original 2010 record ‘Speak Now’, features updated versions of beloved tracks such as “Back to December,” “Mean,” “Mine,” “The Story of Us,” “Sparks Fly,” and “Ours.” Notably, Swift requested her passionate fans to refrain from using the song “Dear John” as a means to publicly criticize John Mayer.

Additionally, ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ includes six previously unreleased songs, including collaborations such as “Electric Touch” featuring Fall Out Boy and “Castles Crumbling” featuring Hayley Williams from Paramore.

Reflecting on the album’s conception, Swift shared, “I first made Speak Now, completely self-written, between the ages of 18 and 20. The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying, and crashing… and living to speak about it. With six extra songs I’ve sprung loose from the vault, I absolutely cannot wait to celebrate Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) with you.”

The original ‘Speak Now’ album, a blend of country and pop, was well-received in Australia, claiming the top spot on the ARIA Albums Chart. It also earned Swift a nomination for Best Country Album at the 2012 Grammy Awards.

In related news, Swift has recently confirmed an Australian leg of her extensive world tour, although New Zealand will not be included on this tour schedule.

Fans worldwide are eagerly embracing ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ as they embark on an emotional journey through Swift’s musical evolution, celebrating her unwavering artistry and connection with her dedicated fanbase.
